The French laundry pops up at Harrods

Anyone who’s heard of Thomas Keller will no doubt be aware of his reputation as being one of the World’s best chefs.  With 3 Michelin stars to his name, his highly acclaimed restaurants in New York (Per Se) and California (The French Laundry) have been repeatedly voted as two of the best restaurants in the US.

We were ecstatic to hear that Keller is briefly opening a pop up restaurant on the fourth floor of Harrods from 1st -10th October.  His 9 course tasting menu won’t be cheap but we can guarantee you it will be one of the best meal’s you’ll ever have.  Having eaten at his NYC restaurant before his attention to detail is second to none.  You even get a choice of butters to have with your choice of bread and the waiters will recommend the combinations that work best!

The pop up restaurant at Harrods will showcase his most well known restaurant – The French laundry.  The Georgian restaurant in Harrods’s will be tweaked to replicate some of the French Laundry interiors and some of the fixtures, fittings and signature dinnerware will even be specially flown over for service.

For those of us who love the finer things in life, what better than sampling the delights of one of the World’s best chefs in one of the world’s most luxurious department stores!!
