Finsk shoes – Autumn/Winter collection

FINSK was launched in 2004 by London based, Finnish born, Julia Lundsten who has made a name for herself as a gifted shoe designer.

Winner of the prestigious Manolo Blahnik Award two years running, some of Lundsten’s greatest inspirations derive from architecture, including buildings and furniture details.  FINSK’s graphic aesthetic continues this Autumn/Winter season, with the launch of her collection ‘Fender’.  Sharp wooden heels and contrasting natural materials combine with modern architectural shapes resulting in a minimalistic and wearable collection.

Main colours of black and mushroom allow key details and shapes to take centre stage.  Flats are featured, as are thin, built-in platforms that create comfort and height while keeping the look light. Ankle boots wrap the foot in soft, over-sized sections of leather. Multiple skinny laces and functional, heavy industrial zips are used to close the shoes.
